An accomplished singer and businesswoman who has mastered the art of combining her administrative gifts with her lifelong passion for music.  She is a highly motivated, and goal driven entrepreneur, whose strong work ethic, love for people and music, has propelled her into her God given destiny.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio Tamika has been singing since the age of five, remaining active in various bands, stage plays, and independent musical ventures all throughout childhood to adulthood.  She relocated to the DC area in 2004 and quickly made a name for herself, continuing her musical prowess in various roles and bands as the lead vocalist, growing to band leader, and eventually formed her own band and music company in 2009, Musically Yours Entertainment Group, Inc.  This talented group specializes in booking live music entertainment for a wide range of occasions.  Musically Yours Entertainment provides a unique experience that caters to each client’s specific needs, spanning across diverse genres of music.

Tamika is former  member of the multi-Stellar Award winning, two-time Dove Award winning, and Grammy nominated gospel group Anthony Brown and Group Therapy with whom she has traveled all over the country.  She has been seen performing on BET’s Celebration of Gospel, Sunday’s Best, the Stellar Awards, the Dove Awards as well as multiple seasons on Bobby Jones Gospel. 

Her recent endeavors include launching a concert series called, the New Artist Showcase, in partnership with Alice’s Jazz & Cultural Society in Washington, DC.  This initiative has provided  training and exposure for budding new artists within the music community at large, helping young or inexperienced artists hone their craft and build their fan base while getting opportunities to perform.

She is a member of the first Baptist Church of Glenarden, Pastor John Jenkins, where she has served in the Music and Arts department, the drama ministry for over 10 years, currently serving on the Intercessory Prayer team.

Tamika and her daughter, Jaali, reside in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
