About Us
Established in 2019, Tamika launched a concert series the, New Artist Showcase in partnership with Alice’s Jazz & Cultural Society in Washington, DC. This endeavor has produced some amazing new artists and exposure for Musically Yours as a beacon of light and encouragement in the music community at large helping young or inexperienced artists hone their craft and build their fan base while getting opportunities to perform.

To promote and foster musical excellence through preparation, repetition, practice, and performance. We aim to provide a platform for creative expression among new, up-and- coming artists, giving them the space to hone their crafts to become stage ready.

Jaali Boyd
Baldwin Wallace University
Jaali Boyd, a native of Columbus, Ohio, exhibited extraordinary musical ability at a very early age, harmonizing with her mother at age 2 and writing her first song by age 4. Jaali is a graduate of Suitland High School in the Visual and Performing Arts program where she excelled in classical voice and music theory studies. She has performed in several theatre productions with the Jaguar Players Drama Club at Flowers High School including: Bubbling Brown Sugar 2011 (pit singer), The Wiz 2012 (pit singer), and Mo’Tale to Motown 2013 (singer & dancer).
She has won awards in vocal competitions across Prince George’s County including the Maryland Music Educators Association State Solo and Ensemble Festival where she received a Superior rating of ‘1’ four years in a row. Jaali is currently a Fellows Scholar at Baldwin Wallace University, in her Sophomore year studying Arts Management and Entrepreneurship, with a Music Minor. She is working on her first highly anticipated project.

Halo Wheeler
Howard University
Halo Wheeler, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is a Music Business major, Jazz Voice minor at Howard University. Not only is she a dynamic and unique vocalist, but this Valedictorian of Shades Valley High School (c/o 2016), and Gates Millennium Scholar has many stage performance credits to her name including: Red Mountain Theatre Company – The Color Purple (Teen Celie), ArtsCentric – Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Education – Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Sweet Sue). She was also named Museum of Urban Arts Youth Entertainer of the Year (2011), and won Miss College Hall South (2017-2018). In August 2014, she released her Freshmen CD, This Is Who I Am. Her newest single, Body Heat, is available on all media outlets and the sizzling hot video can be found on YouTube.

Robert Alston
University of the Arts
TRE4RMDC (Tre-from-DC) is a native Washingtonian who is an alumnus of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. He is currently a rising senior at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia (UARTS) where he studies Vocal Performance. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with some amazing artists such as Jason Morales, Laylah Hathaway, and Brandi. He released his first single in May 2019, “Up 2 You” on all digital platforms. Upon graduation from UARTS, TRE will be pursuing his music career as a professional recording artist.

Robert Alston

Dominique Treadwell
Landover, Maryland
Dominique Treadwell, better know as Domo, is a much sought after vocalist and youth worship leader from Maryland by way of Youngstown, Ohio. Her love for God and musical gift inspired her to use music to draw people closer to Christ. She is a graduate of Suitland High School in the Visual and Performing Arts program and has had the opportunity to sing at the NMAAHC, and Christmas in Washington. She is currently pursuing a music industry degree at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Domo’s heart is to minister through song how great God truly is, share, inspire, and uplift people through her music. She is currently working on a new single to be released this fall.
